Established in 1987 by Sally Hughes IHBC, primarily as a training & supply system for budding beauticians. By the end of the 1980's we were also operating a Bridal make-up Service for South London & the Southern Home Counties under the name of "The Bridal make-up Company."

During the 1990's we recognised the fact that there were many talented beauticians who could not afford the high costs of advertising their services and therefore we devised a system that would enable them to obtain more work at less cost.

Our system not only benefits our consultants, but also gives brides all over the U.K. a chance to obtain a local, reasonably priced service and to obtain the peace of mind that they deserve on their 'special day'. In addition, we now cover all areas of Beauty, Hair Design, and Colour Analysis and we became "The Beauty Company" to reflect this. Our service now runs the length & breadth of the United Kingdom.

We are very actively involved in advertising in all of the major U.K. magazines, many wedding exhibitions and, increasingly on the Internet. In addition, over the years, we have been featured, both locally & Nationally, by various forms of media.

We recruit & provide work for experienced beauticians/hair designers.  In addition, we run regular 'refresher' courses to keep our consultants up to date with forthcoming trends and fashions.

Finally, we act as a 'wholesale' supplier for many, top quality products & services and include, within our training system, education and information on all of the features & benefits of the modern product market.

We have entered the new millennium with an almost fever pitch level of excitement, we have already taken close to triple our level of expected bookings so far this century with no sign of a 'slowdown'. Our main goal is to fulfil every booking, but to do this we are going to need help, a lot of help! We are actively recruiting both experienced and non-experienced consultants in all areas of the U.K.

The long term goal of The Beauty Company is to continue our aim of being the largest and most respected Nation Wide Service in the U.K.
